New blog aims to improve professional services management

The Ndarala Group has launched a new blog - Managing the Professional Services Firm  - to encourage discussion on ways of improving the management of professional services firms.

Announcing the move, Ndarala CEO Jim Belshaw said that the new blog was intended to bridge the gap between the more formal material contained on the main Group web site and the specific advice provided to professional services clients.

"All professional services firms face very real management challenges in an ever changing world", Mr Belshaw said.

"They have to attract and retain the best staff. They have to attract and retain clients. They have to find new ways to develop and deliver services. They have to manage the overall business without losing sight of the core professional ethos that lies at the heart of professional services".

"All businesses face similar challenges", Mr Belshaw said.

"However, the professional and people based nature of professional services create very particular challenges."

The new blog will be edited by Jim Belshaw and contain a mix of short comments, links to resources, as well as some longer pieces. Other Ndarala professionals will contribute material linked to their own areas of expertise.

"We hope that the new blog will become a valuable resource for all those interested in the management of professional services firms", Mr Belshaw concluded.
