Dilanchian launches Lightbulb, a new blog focused on commercialisation

As part of a major web site upgrade, Sydney law firm and Ndarala member practice Dilanchian Lawyers & Consultants has launched Lightbulb, a new blog focusing on commercialisation.

Announcing the move, Noric Dilanchian (Dilanchian's managing partner) said that the blog provided an opportunity to communicate with a wider audience on innovation and commercialisation issues.

"While blogs, or blawgs as they are generally called within the legal sector, are common in the United States, very few have been established by Australian law firms."

"We believe that our blawg can play a useful role in encouraging Australia debate on innovation and commercialisation", Mr Dilanchian concluded.

Welcoming the move, Ndarala CEO Jim Belshaw commented that while 8 per cent of US people had blogs, the Australian figure was half that.

"This carries through into business blogging in general. Far too few Australian businesses, especially smaller businesses, recognise the role blogs can play in communicating with customers."

"We hope that the new Dilanchian blog will both benefit Dilachian and provide a demonstration model for Australian businesses in general and professional services firms in particular", Mr Belshaw concluded.
